KEF initiatives are managed by a diverse team comprising of professionals with wide-ranging experience in the development sector. They hold expertise in the fields of education, government systems, leadership development and behaviour change.
Aditya Natraj qualified as a chartered accountant and worked as a corporate finance consultant for KPMG before working in senior management and business development positions in Europe.
On returning to India, he took over and steered Pratham Gujarat into becoming the state’s largest educational not-for-profit.
He subsequently launched the Gandhi Fellowship and founded Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) in 2008. Aditya is an education expert for Monitor Consulting and a member of the Advisory Board of the Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work in Mumbai. He has an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Government, Mumbai Operations, and Public Relations
Manmohan is one of the founding members of the organization. He has over 10 years of experience in areas ranging from leadership development, systemic change and start-ups to large-scale transformation projects and non-profit management. He has earlier worked with regional, national and international institutions such as the WHO, UNICEF, MSDF, Pratham, Rotary & Red Cross. Manmohan has a post-graduate diploma in Conflict Analysis and Peace-building from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.
SLDP Curriculum Design Team
Monal has a background in Fine Arts, Art History, Design and Education.
She worked in Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara and in National Institute of Design and later joined Pratham Gujarat. At KEF, Monal has been instrumental in designing curriculums for the School Leadership Development Program.
Nandita has an M. Ed from Gujarat University. She graduated from the Ekalavya Teachers’ Training Institute before taking over as vice-principal of a primary school. She coordinated 500 remedial classes across 30 rural and urban locations in Gujarat for Pratham for five years before starting her work in the organization. Her expertise lies in handling government relations and program design.
Udaipur-Dungarpur and Churu Operations
Niraj has keen interest in nurturing youth leadership and he has been greatly involved with Gandhi Fellowship since its initial days.
Post his engineering, a little more than a decade ago, Niraj ventured into the development sector. By then, he had served at the Ramakrishna Mission for over two years. He completed his Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Tripti was a professor of English at University of Mumbai for over 12 years. She headed the editorial team at IMS Publications Mumbai, and later moved to the India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore, as their Head of Programs. At KEF, she currently leads the Fellowship Curriculum Design team.
Fellowship Alumni Program
A founding member of KEF, Vivek was previously a Program Director with Pratham India. While working on Pratham’s footprint in the northern states, he set up learning enhancement programs in government schools of Punjab, Himachal, and Uttarakhand. Trained as a journalist, he spent over a decade working for a cross-section of Indian media. Vivek has also been a part of some unique business, IT and Telecom start-ups.
As core team member of Pratham Gujarat, Rohit was involved in Urban/Rural primary education initiatives and fund-raising to support Gujarat programmes. Then he moved to United Kingdom for further study in business management and finance. Post his study he has set up his business in UK and as an entrepreneur managed business for 6 years. He has an MSW from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat and MBA from University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK.
Seshadri shifted to social sector after spending about 25 years in different banking environments. In his journey as a banker, he had developed and nurtured large Corporate relationships and has done pioneering work in the Debt investment space in a tough market. He moved into Kaivalya to find meaning and joy and is happy that he took that call.

Pooja is a senior HR professional with a well-rounded experience of over 15 years in various dimensions of HR including Organization Development, Talent Management, Performance Development, Training etc. She has worked in diverse settings at national, regional and global levels including HR management in startup projects, project expansions and HR business partnering etc. With an MBA in HR and a degree in law, she has been associated in the past with organizations like Child Rights & You (CRY), Population Services International (PSI), Greenpeace India, Amnesty International, and International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). Her current role focusses on Leadership Development, HR Process Improvement and Systems Strengthening..
