Sangeeta Mamgain
Core Team Member
State Transformation Program, Haryana Centre of Excellence for Technology


Sangeeta Mamgain has over 18 years of experience in Web Application Solutions, Entrepreneurship, Customer Relationship Management and Enabling Digital Content in Schools. She was co-founder of a web solutions company which she ran for 17 years. Her organization collaborated with book publishers including Oxford University Press, Pearson Education and Elsevier Health Sciences. At KEF she is building capacity to understand the technology ecosystem in the education department across states so that we can help create solutions for systemic change. Sangeeta was part of ISB Goldman Sachs- 10000 Women Entrepreneurship Programme and graduated with Economics Honours from Delhi University.


Rohit Talwar
Core Team Member
Human Resources and Marketing


Rohit has over 13 years of experience in Youth Mobilization, Marketing, Recruitment, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Fund Raising. He established Gandhi Fellowship as an aspirational brand among youngsters to recruit 900+ fellows from premier institutes across India. In Pratham, he led a 170-member team for rural and urban programs across 500 villages in Gujarat to universalize primary education. He later set up an entrepreneurial venture in UK and independently managed it four years. He has an MBA from University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK and an MSW from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat.

Arun has a rich experience in Television Media business. Having set up business for ESPN, Star Sports in India, Arun has also been associated with Zee and Times Television as CEO and President respectively. During his 30 years of working experience, he has conceptualised and implemented various innovative processes that have been a success and adopted as an industry norm. He is an expert on Start up ventures and launches. He manages Mumbai Operations.

Malini has over 21 years of experience working in the corporate sector with international accounting firms such as Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. She also worked briefly with Enron and ICICI OneSource. For the last 10 years of her corporate stint, she worked as senior team member and Partner of BMR Advisors. With a BA, LLB (Hons) from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, Malini specialized in Transaction taxes and Foreign trade regulations..


Nandita Raval
Core Team Member
Principal Leadership Development Program- Gujarat, Haryana, Uttarakhand; Centre for Excellence for School; Centre of Excellence for Teacher


Nandita has over 25 years of experience in Education Leadership, Managing Government Relations & Partnership, Program Design and Implementation. Nandita co-founded KEF, with the vision to transform quality of education in public schools by strengthening leadership in education. She served as Principal at a private School in Ahmedabad for 4 years and as a lecturer at Eklavya Teacher Training Institute for 3 years. She has co-authored Right to Education Bill for Gujarat and is a member of Right to Education Committee and Gunotsav Committee of Gujarat Govt. During her stint in Pratham, she facilitated 500 remedial classes across 30 rural and urban locations in for five years. Nandita has an MBA in HR, MA in M.Ed., UG & PGDP in primary education.


Manmohan Singh
Core Team Member
District Transformation Program in collaboration with NITI AAYOG and Government Advocacy


Manmohan has over 17 years of experience in Leadership Development, Systemic Change, Entrepreneurship, Large Scale Transformation Projects and Non-profit Management. He co-founded KEF and has been instrumental in expanding the outreach from 100 schools in a single district of Rajasthan in 2008 to Ten States of India today. Previously, he worked with international, national and regional institutions like, UNICEF, WHO, Red Cross, Rotary, MSF and PRATHAM. He has a post graduate diploma in Conflict Analysis and Peace-building from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.


Kartik Varma
Core Team Member
State Transformation Program- Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir


Kartik has over 17 years of international experience in strategic HR advisory across Middle East, Malaysia and India. He has held leadership roles across consulting, HR and sales in diverse range of companies including PwC, Cedar Management Consulting, Murugappa Group and BILT. He has a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.


Seshadri S
Core Team Member


Seshadri has over 23 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Establishing, Building and Nurturing Partnerships. Previously he has worked with public and private banks including SBI, Kotak Bank and Credit Agricole Indosuez. In KEF, Seshadri leads, develops and nurtures engagement and relationship with financial partners and investors. He also develops and delivers on strategies for appropriate funding option in sync with functional and operational nuances. Seshadri has completed an Advanced Program for Strategic Management from IIM Calcutta and holds B.Com Honours from Delhi University.


Monal Jayaram

Principal Leadership Development Program, Rajasthan and 3 Centres of Excellence including Assessment, Gandhi Fellowship Design & Socio Emotional Learning


Monal Jayaram has 20+ years of experience in Curriculum Design, Monitoring and Evaluation, Global Partnerships. During her stint in Pratham, Monal led the Operations, Curriculum Design & Training team of over 200+ people at Pratham for five years. She has fostered Global Partnerships & Collaborations by representing KEF at Harvard Graduate School of Education, The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, The New York University and Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI). Monal holds an MA in Fine Arts from M.S. University, Baroda.


Tripti Vyas
Core Team Member
Fellowship Curriculum Design Team.


Tripti taught English literature to undergraduates, at a college affiliated to the University of Mumbai for over 12 years, before deciding to move out from the abstractions of theory to try her hand at practice: at getting things done. This led to stints in publishing and arts funding. After heading the editorial team at IMS Publications Mumbai, she moved to the India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore, as their Head of Programs. Now with the organisation, she manages the Gandhi Fellowship Program. She has completed her Master’s degree in Literature and Aesthetics from University of Mumbai.


Neelima Pandey

District Transformation Program- Design


Dr. Neelima Pandey has 22+ years of cumulative experience in Teaching, Clinical Psychology, Child Rights and Community Development Program. For 16 years, she led child rights and child centered community development programs in remote villages of India in organizations including Plan India and CARE. Neelima’s work portfolio ranged from strategic planning to implementation at grass roots here. As a PhD and trained clinical psychologist, she has also practiced as a counselor and taught at Lucknow University for 6 years.


Sandeep Agarwal

Sandeep is a business leader with over 24 years of global experience across BPO and automobile industries and 2 years of Social sector experience. He has a Master degree in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He holds experience in starting businesses and scaling them up to achieve growth across organizations. He was the former CEO of Give India. He is an expert in handling end to end Mergers & Acquisition cycle and acting as a change agent. His rich experience makes him adept in managing multi-cultural teams spread across the globe.
